40-Hour Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine Course is organized by Life Support Technologies (LST) group and will be held during Apr 19 - 22, 2018 at Nassau University Medical Center, Nassau, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event isPhysicians (MD, DO, DPM), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Paramedic (EMT-P), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B), Respiratory Therapist (RT), active duty military corpsmen, other health care professionals and administrators. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 40 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits, and all other healthcare professionals receive 42 CEUs.
Conference Description :
This course covers indications and contraindications to hyperbaric oxygen treatment, hyperbaric treatment protocols, the economics of hyperbaric practice, management of emergencies, and instruction in the use of the monoplace chamber as well as ancillary equipment associated with hyperbaric oxygen treatment. This course provides the credentials recommended for Physician Hyperbaric Supervision and CHT certification by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology.

• Provides networking opportunity among board-certified experts in hyperbaric medicine and wound care
• Empowers knowledge of appropriate and best practice based on CMS and UHMS guidelines
• All our faculty is board certified, and work, live and teach in your region. They understand and emphasize the specific regulations and requirements in the Northeastern states.
