OVERVIEW

International, Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Conference Stroke Rehab: From No-Tech to Go-Tech is organized by University of Canterbury (UC) Rose Centre for Stroke Recovery and Research and will be held during Jan 29 - 31, 2018 at Christchurch Art Gallery, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.

The target audience for this medical event is Clinicians, Engineers, Physiologists, rehabilitation specialists and students with an interest in cortical, corticobulbar or corticospinal rehabilitation.

Conference Description :
This conference includes keynote addresses and panel discussions, covering principles of neuroscience and neural recovery, and multidisciplinary engagement in clinical stroke management. The content will be easily translatable across disciplines with a focused emphasis on technological applications to clinical practice. Peer-reviewed, research platform presentations will be targeted to sub specialties including speech-language pathology, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy.

For those with a specific interest in swallowing, we will again be offering our yearly two-week dysphagia intensive course as an adjunct to the Stroke Rehab Conference.
