International Conference on Spreading Depolarizations (ICSD) is organized by Co-Operative Studies on Brain Injury Depolarizations (COSBID) and will be held from Sep 22 - 24, 2018 at Boca Raton Resort and Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, Boca Raton, Florida, United States of America.

Conference Description:
iCSD is an annual meeting dedicated to the study of spreading depolarizations, the mass waves of cellular depolarization discovered by Aristides Leao. Depolarizations are a key pathologic mechanism in a variety of neurologic disorders and have been studied for over 70 years. Annual meetings to discuss these phenomena were initiated in 2003 with the formation of COSBID. In 2017, the meeting was re-formulated as iCSD to cultivate an open community and recognize spreading depolarizations as its own field of translational neuroscience. We welcome you to participate in iCSD2018, whether to learn or to present your latest findings from the lab or the clinic. With presentations ranging the gamut from clinical outcomes to electron microscopy, we believe you will find the ‘depth of field’ in translational flavor is unparalleled
