Human Genetic Variation and Disease Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) is organized by Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) and will be held during Jun 09 - 10, 2018 at University of New England - Biddeford Campus, Biddeford, Maine, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is students, postdoctoral fellows and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present cutting-edge research at the intersection of genomics, molecular biology, computational biology, and medicine.

Course Description:
The first ever GRS on Human Genetic Variation and Disease will focus on emerging ideas on the collection, generation, interpretation and applicability of large-scale genetic data sets in the context of human disease and medicine. Particularly, the meeting will emphasize the exciting new questions and resources that the next generation of scientists, engineers and analysts has inherited in this rapidly changing and increasingly interdisciplinary area of research. The GRS will provide junior scientists a venue to discuss research, and exchange ideas with peers and established scientists from a variety of disciplines. The congenial atmosphere of the GRS will also provide ample opportunities for participants to interact and build collaborations with scientists at these different levels.
