How to Fabricate a New Generation of Hybrid Dentures for Edentulous Patients is organized by LSU Health New Orleans Continuing Dental Education and will be held from Nov 16 - 17, 2018 at LSU School of Dentistry, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Dentists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 10 hours clinical CDE credits. (6 hours lecture/4 hours participation).
Course Overview:
The overall objective of this course is to teach and train you how to fabricate a new generation of hybrid dentures that fills the need for a long-lasting and more hygienic prosthesis for your edentulous patients. In order to accomplish this overall objective, the course is designed around and requires completion of two separate parts. Part One is live at LSU School of Dentistry with a day of lectures on Friday and a half-day "hands-on" simulation workshop on Saturday. Part Two takes place after the course when attendees return home and start using The LSU Online CDE Training Platform. This training platform is new and unique. It's the catalyst that makes the learning and training memorable and effective.
After using the online training platform to review and practice the fabrication techniques observed and learned during the lectures and "hands-on" simulation exercises, your self-confidence should increase and you should be more likely to incorporate this new and more hygienic prosthesis into your practice. The Friday lectures cover the evidence-based information needed to make accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for edentulous patients. During the lectures, different types of prostheses for edentulous patients are reviewed so that attendees understand why the fit of this new hybrid prosthesis is fixed rather than removable. The Saturday morning "hands-on" simulation exercises provide the initial training necessary to supplement the lectures on how to start fabricating and providing these new hybrid dentures. Your edentulous patients should greatly benefit from this new generation of hybrid dentures, because the unique prosthesis provides them with the best possible hygienic solution.
