OVERVIEW

Hemostasis: Defining the Interactions Between Blood, Cells, and Vessels in Hemostasis and Disease is organized by Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) and will be held during Jul 29 - Aug 03, 2018 at Waterville Valley Conference & Event Center, Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event is Haematologists.

Course Description :
The Hemostasis GRC brings together a community of scientists interested in the biology, biochemistry, and genetics of platelets and coagulation proteins; physicians involved in the treatment of bleeding and thrombotic diseases; and investigators from small and large pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies developing new therapeutics and diagnostics for disorders of the hemostatic system. Topics include novel and emerging aspects of hemostasis and thrombosis, as well as newly-identified roles for coagulation proteins, cells, and biophysical mechanisms in human disease.

A primary goal of the conference is for every attendee to participate as a speaker, discussion leader, or poster presenter. All applicants are encouraged to submit an abstract for presentation at one of the four scheduled poster sessions and consideration for an oral presentation at the Late-Breaking Topics session. Poster sessions are always well attended and provide a dedicated and highly-interactive forum for conversations among junior and senior investigators in the field. Afternoons are open for informal discussion among attendees, as well as leisure activities that enhance interactions, intellectual exchange, and foster new collaborations – a traditional and unique component of the Hemostasis GRC.

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
