B. von Willebrand syndrome, complicated. Civilization-related conditions (acute coronary syndrome, atrial fibrillation, stroke, venous thromboembolism, etc.) require differential treatment with platelet aggregation inhibitors, parenteral or oral anticoagulants to safely guide patients through the risk of bleeding and thrombosis in the OR and ICU.
The aim of this intensive workshop is to provide you with profound knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of perioperative coagulation disorders, to understand the management of patients under anticoagulants in the operating room and in the intensive care unit and to work together in small groups on safe treatment strategies. The possibilities and limitations of coagulation analysis and point-of-care coagulation diagnostics are presented theoretically and practically.
Under the patronage of the German Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis Research (GTH) and the German Academy of Anaesthesiology (DAAF) of the German Society for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI) and the Federation of German Anesthesiologists (BDA) we offer a unique interactive intensive workshop (Lectures , Fall sessions, group work, "hands on" workshops) to work with "coagulation experts" of different disciplines on all aspects of perioperative hemostasis.
