Gastro-Intestinal (GI) Cancer Conference is organized by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and will be held on Feb 10, 2018 at Cedars Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, Los Angeles, California, United States of America.

Conference Overview:
This course will serve as a review and update on second annual Cedars-Sinai Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference will provide concise and comprehensive updates on the most recent results and advances in targeted therapies for gastrointestinal cancers. A stellar faculty has been assembled to share developments in precision medicine, research, and multidisciplinary approaches to the treatment of cancers of the colon, gastric/esophagus, pancreas, neuroendocrine tumors, and cholangiocarcinoma. Program faculty will also focus on advances in locoregional therapies such as SBRT, and will discuss bench to bedside immune therapy for GI malignancies. Join your colleagues for this important half day educational activity that will enhance your understanding of GI cancers and the latest treatment approaches available to your patients.

Conference Objectives are:
• Use AJCC or other appropriate staging in clinical practice, including the use of appropriate prognostic indicators and evidence-based national guidelines for treatment planning
• Select patients with early cancers that may benefit from non-surgical or minimally-invasive therapies
• Evaluate clinical data and mechanism of action for newly approved drugs for the treatment of cancer
• Incorporate the advantages and disadvantages of different treatment options when making treatment decisions for patients with gastroesophageal and other GI cancers Evaluate pharmacological therapy and surgical options for the management of locally advanced or metastatic NETs
• Consider recent advances in locoregional therapies, including Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), when developing treatment plans for patients with localized tumors who are poor candidates for surgery
• Discuss referral to a center of excellence and/or clinical trial enrollment with patients who have been determined to have unresectable or recurrent CCA.
