Focus on the Spine: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Managing Back Pain is organized by NorthBay Healthcare and will be held on May 04, 2018 at NorthBay Healthcare Green Valley Administration Center, Fairfield, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and physical therapists. Conference Objectives are :
• Describe appropriate diagnostic workup and differential diagnoses for the causes of back pain including judicious use of imaging based on best practices.
• Explain use of multimodality medications and interventional pain management to decrease narcotic dependency in patients.
• Explain the value of multidisciplinary expertise in the evaluation and care of back pain patients including physical therapy, OMM, ergonomics and body mechanics for facilitating a patients' return to work.
• Recognize atypical, high risk, and traumatic back pain which require early, state-of-the-art intervention including minimally invasive and complex spine surgery.
