Edinburgh Hands on Balance Course is organized by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and will be held during Jun 21 - 22, 2018 at Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom.
The target audience for this medical event is those working regularly with balance patients: ENT and Neurology Consultants ENT and Neurology Senior Trainees, Medicine for the Elderly Audiologists Physiotherapists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12 CPD Points.
Conference Overview :
This course will provide up-to-date management of balance disorders through a combination of short didactic lectures and small group workshops. Topics include: when to request and how to perform vestibular function tests such as VEMPs, VHit, calories and rotating chair. Management of recurrent BPPV, Vestibular migraine, Meniere's disease, Chronic subjective dizziness, Superior semi-circular canal dehiscence and Mal de Debarquement.
Learning Outcomes :
At the end of the course you will be able to:
• know how to run a balance clinic
• when to request and how to perform vestibular function tests such as VEMPs, VHit, calories and rotating chair.
