Drug Carriers in Medicine and Biology Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) is organized by Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) and will be held from Aug 11 - 12, 2018 at Mount Snow, West Dover, Vermont, United States of America.

The 2018 Gordon Research Seminar on Drug Carriers in Medicine and Biology is the third biennial forum for young researchers to present data and exchange ideas in the areas of materials, immunology, and drug delivery. The Drug Carriers GRS provides a platform for graduate students, post-docs, and biotech/pharmaceutical professionals to build a scientific network in an informal setting designed to facilitate scientific discussions and idea generation.

Overcoming the challenges in drug carrier design requires a multidisciplinary approach that benefits from collaboration between chemists, biologists, engineers, and clinicians. The meeting will focus on drug carriers for the delivery of biologics with a special emphasis on the interactions between different materials and the immune system, cargo release strategies, and carriers successfully used in imaging applications.
