Dermatopathology in the Desert is organized by United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) and will be held during May 17 - 20, 2018 at USCAP Interactive Center, Palm Springs, California, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is surgical pathologists and dermatopathologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 23.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:

This conference is an annual resource for surgical pathologists and dermatopathologists to refine their diagnostic skills when confronted with complex and unusual melanocytic lesions, adnexal tumors, cutaneous lymphomas/soft tissue tumors, and diseases of the nails. The struggle to diagnose lesions in these categories is manifest by the nature of consultations received by the faculty, provoking their awareness of need for continuing education and updates in the context of contemporary revisions to precise diagnostic criteria and ancillary studies.

Course Objectives:

• Learn and apply criteria to diagnosis of selected melanocytic lesions
• Learn and apply criteria to diagnosis of selected adnexal neoplasms
• Learn and apply criteria to diagnosis of selected soft tissue neoplasms
• Learn and apply criteria to diagnosis of selected cutaneous lymphomas
• Learn and apply criteria to diagnosis of selected nail and acral lesions
