Dental Sleep Medicine Mini Residency is organized by University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and would be held during May 18 - Sep 15, 2018 at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco, California, United States Of America.
The target audience for this medical event for dentists who desire to increase knowledge and skills in the screening, evaluation and management of patients with obstructive sleep apnea. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 60 CE credits.
Learning Objectives :
• How to screen, evaluate and manage obstructive sleep apnea as part of a multidisciplinary team
• To recognize the connections between sleep apnea, bruxism, TMD, periodontal disease and other factors related to the oral and overall health of their patients
• How to select and effectively employ several different designs of oral appliances
• To evaluate, avoid and manage TMD's related to oral appliance therapy
• To make informed decisions regarding utilization of medical billing
• How to incorporate dental sleep medicine into your practice management paradigm
• The use of Cone Beam CT in screening patients with sleep apnea
This Conference is divided into 3 sessions:

Session III: September 14 - 15, 2018
