Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) Systems Immunology is organized by Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) and will be held on Jun 19, 2018 at San Francisco Marriott Marquis, San Francisco, California, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is includes clinical fellows in disciplines related to immunology and translational research; fellows doing basic research with an emphasis on computational data analysis; scientists and other research and development personnel from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in drug target and biomarker identification programs for immunological diseases; and academic or community physicians who wish to enhance their understanding of personalized medicine concepts and computational biology.

Course Objectives:
Completion of this course, will allow participants to:
• Discuss the opportunities opened up by the use of genomics and proteomics technologies in modern immunology.
• Describe scientific reports on analysis of multidemensional data (NGS, microarray, mass/flow cytometry data analysis).
• Discuss basic principles, challenges and applications of bioinformatics data analysis.
• Describe the main components, tasks and challenges of genomics-based project in a grant proposal.
• Describe dangers connected with overfitting, multiple hypothesis testing and bias.
