Conference Overview :
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common chronic respiratory ailment and is a major driver of health care expenditure. Creating care plans for patients with COPD requires concurrent attention to nuances in disease presentation as well as application of multidisciplinary resources to optimize health care utilization. This symposium will discuss the recent advances in the care of patients with COPD and the current concepts in multidisciplinary COPD management programs.
