This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 15 Contact Hours.
Course Description :
In the intermediate-level CEAS™ II workshop, registrants practice using the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment), RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) and Rodgers Muscle Fatigue Analysis. These tools are designed to evaluate individual task steps. You will learn the differences between and uses of these quantifiable evaluation tools; practical techniques for choosing cost-effective solutions; and methods to compile concise client reports. Topics included are ageing workforce issues specific to healthcare professionals, office markets and manual material handling job sites.
Conference Objectives are:
• Analyze the multi-faceted impact of the ageing workforce and ways to address these concerns that benefit ALL workers.
• Apply the use of the ergonomics assessment tools - REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment), RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) and Rodgers Muscle Fatigue Analysis in performing ergonomics analysis on individual task steps.
• Investigate the injury and rehabilitation process associated with a persistent injury.
• Identify issues encountered by Material Handlers and manufacturing and warehouse workers.
• Discuss how shift work and sleep deprivation issues affect and influence job performance.
• Construct a "Job/Process/Task Hazard Analysis" project.
• Compose options for an "ERGO Leader" program.
