OVERVIEW
Cardiovascular MRI with CT correlation Course is organized by HONEST GmbH & Co. KG and will be held from Oct 11 - 12, 2018 at University of Ulm, Ulm, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
The target audience for this medical meeting is Radiologists, Cardiologists, Residents in radiology and cardiology, and Physicists who currently are, or in the future will be working with cardiovascular MRI and CT are given the opportunity to get acquainted with basic as well as advanced applications of MRI and CT in cardiovascular diagnosis.
Course Description:
This course is part of an education initiative of twelve European universities, supported by the European Commission (ICP-92-B- 1071/12), aiming at the implementation of a standard course for the EC. The students are evaluated at the end of the courses and the Erasmus certificate is awarded to those who have successfully completed the entire series of courses within a three year period. The Erasmus Program is now incorporated in the SOCRATES program.
Course Objective:
This course focuses on the teaching of clinical applications of MR imaging of the heart and vascular system, with CT correlation. Issues relevant to daily clinical practice will be discussed in plenary sessions. Experts in the field using selected case material, displayed on workstations, provide more extensive individual teaching. A hands-on workshop will be held to practice MR and CT examinations, as well as image processing tools. The course is accessible for 50 participants.
