61st CSMB Annual Conference

61st Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (CSMB) Annual Conference is organized by Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (CSMB) and will be held during Apr 11 - 15, 2018 at Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada.

The theme of the meeting is “Membrane Proteins in Health and Disease” and will feature sessions on membrane structural biology, membrane protein biogenesis and folding, molecular events in membrane transport physiology, ion transport and pH regulation, membrane embedded enzymes, and membrane proteins as therapeutic targets.

There will also be lectures invited from submitted abstracts and poster sessions featuring presentations by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Travel awards are available for trainees and prizes will be given for the best posters. This meeting typically attracts an informed group of 250 participants interested in membrane protein structure, function, biogenesis, and physiology.
