OVERVIEW
University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Breast Imaging and Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is organized by University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) Continuing Medical Education and will be held during Jan 07 - 12, 2018 at The Fairmont Orchid, Waimea, Hawaii, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 26.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
This course is designed for the clinical radiologist, including radiologists who specialize in breast imaging or body MRI. It is intended to provide an overview and update on clinically relevant topics in breast imaging from fundamentals of interpretation to advanced topics, including tomosynthesis and breast MRI. Course content will emphasize a practical approach, and will include didactic lectures and small group workshops covering digital mammography, breast tomosynthesis and breast MRI
Conference Objectives are :
• Apply and utilize BI-RADS appropriately.
• Develop a skillful and practical approach to performing and interpreting mammography, US and MRI.
• Understand and implement the growing use of MRI and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis in the clinical setting.
• Facilitate compliance with reporting guidelines and management of patient follow-up.
