This Conference is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The development of sophisticated genetic tools in various animal models has provided a greater understanding of the molecular pathways that regulate skeletal development and homeostasis. At the same time, modern sequencing technology has facilitated the identification of novel human mutations that cause bone diseases. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the significant advances which have been made in the bench side and clinic, and to identify potential avenues for therapeutic development and application. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, mechanisms of bone formation and repair and bone diseases and therapies.
