Best of San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and will be held on Feb 07, 2018 at Embassy Suites Cleveland - Rockside, Independence, Ohio, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is Medical oncologists, breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, gynecologists, and other health care providers with an interest in the management of patients with breast cancer. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 3.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is an international meeting of laboratory and clinical investigators, dedicated to the presentation of the latest research findings in breast cancer. Basic and translational studies that improve our understanding of breast cancer, as well as practice-changing clinical trials, are presented and discussed. This review course will summarize the highlights of the 2017 SABCS, with a focus on the clinical implications of the new information presented at this meeting.

Conference Objectives:
• Summarize information relevant to the surgical management of breast cancer.
• Review current information on the hormonal management of breast cancer.
• Discuss novel targets in the therapy of breast cancer and their clinical implications including the role of conventional chemotherapy and of novel combinations involving conventional chemotherapy.
• Identify emerging radiation techniques and the status of these techniques in the care of patients with breast cancer.
• Review current risk prediction methods and prevention strategies.
