At the end of the symposium the attendees will be able to understand and describe:
• The care of the pediatric neurosurgery patient
• The care of the orthopaedic patient
• Etiology and preventive care for hypothermia and skin issues in the neonate
• How to approach and care for the autistic patient throughout their perioperative experience
• Dealing with emergency delirium in the post anesthesia setting
• Preparing a patient for anesthesia readiness
• Disaster preparedness tools
• Communication standards and tools to communicate more effectively
• Smoke plume and safety in the operating room
