OVERVIEW
American Urological Association (AUA) 2018 Annual Review Course is organized by American Urological Association (AUA) and will be held during Jun 01 - 03, 2018 at Hyatt Regency Austin, Austin, Texas, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is residents preparing for Part I of the ABU Qualifying Examination. This course is also of interest to practicing urologists taking the recertification knowledge assessment or those looking to update or refresh their knowledge base. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 26.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description :
This three-day course will provide basic urologic knowledge to residents for the American Board of Urology (ABU) Qualifying (Part 1) Examination. This course will disseminate current urologic knowledge and also provide practicing urologists preparing for the recertification knowledge assessment as well as others, including allied health professionals, with a thorough review of basic urologic topics.
In preparation for the American Board of Urology (ABU) Qualifying (Part 1) Examination, residents need to have basic urologic knowledge to prepare them for the ABU examinations. To fulfill this need, the American Urological Association (AUA) developed this course to disseminate current urologic knowledge. This course is also of interest to practicing urologist preparing for the recertification knowledge assessment as well as others, including allied health professionals, looking for a thorough review of basic urologic topics.
Course Objectives :
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Apply basic, generally-accepted urological practices for superior patient care.
• Demonstrate core knowledge of urology necessary for Part I of the American Board of Urology (ABU) qualifying examination and for the recertification knowledge assessment.
• Utilize AUA Guidelines for appropriate patient evaluation and management.
