AMMI-CACMID 2018 Annual Conference

Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (AMMI) Canada-Canadian Association for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (CACMID) Annual Conference is organized by Canadian Association for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (CACMID), Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (AMMI) Canada and will be held during May 02 - 05, 2018 at One Wall Centre, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference strives to support the collective interests of students, technologists, and professionals in the areas of diagnostic microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health. The program development for 2018 already speaks to what will be another successful conference.

The scientific program has been finalized and you will hear updates on a comprehensive list of topics presented in plenaries and state of the art lectures. These will include Indigenous health and infectious diseases, pitfalls leading to litigation in infectious diseases and medical microbiology, clinical controversies in infectious diseases and diagnostic microbiology, point-of-care testing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and hot topics in infection control, diagnostic microbiology, and both adult and pediatric infectious diseases. Of course, there will be numerous other program elements that will enhance your learning experience, including oral and poster presentations, workshops, integrated symposia, exhibitor presentations, and the interactive clinical vignettes.
