17th Annual National Clinical Conference

17th Annual National Clinical Conference is organized by American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA) and will be held from Sep 06 - 08, 2018 at Hilton Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is physicians, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists, dietitians and others who manage wound care patients across the continuum of healthcare.

Conference Description :
The goal of this activity is designed to be a comprehensive course associated with concepts in the diagnosis and treatment of non-healing wounds. It is designed to be clinically relevant to daily wound care treatment and educate all providers to best practice to increase optimal patient outcomes and decrease patient morbidity.

Pre-Conference Review course will be held on Sep 06, 2018. This is a Non-CME Hands-on workshop. 17th Annual National Clinical Conference will be held from Sep 07 - 08, 2018.

Conference Objectives are :
• Explain and assess wound etiology including metabolic and mechanical factors and related co-morbidities.
• Identify risk factors, general diagnostics and treatment strategies to prevent skin ulcers.
• Identify and treat ulcers of all etiologies include: pressure, diabetic, vascular and ischemic ulcers.
• Explain surgical and non-surgical wound management and to discuss adjunctive wound therapies.
