OVERVIEW
AOSpine Hospital Based Principles Seminar is organized by AOSpine Latin America and will be held on Aug 18, 2018 at Santa Casa de Misericordia da Bahia, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
Conference Objectives are :
• Resuscitate the patient according to ATLS guidelines
• Immobilize the spine in a patient with a suspected spinal injury beginning at the scene of injury and during the assessment process
• Examine the patient
• Order appropriate imaging
• Classify the injury according to fracture morphology, instability, and neurological status
• Apply evidence-based decision making to the management of the patient
