OVERVIEW
An Update on Infections During Pregnancy is organized by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and will be held on Nov 12, 2018 at Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, England, United Kingdom.

Conference Description :
A number of pathogens can infect pregnant women and can harm the fetus or lead to the loss of the pregnancy. The burden of some of these infections, such as congenital CMV, is high and the consequences far reaching. The current knowledge and awareness of the screening, prevention and treatment of some of these infections among healthcare professionals is variable and sometimes outdated. Furthermore, the practice and recommendations in this field are constantly changing, e.g. pertussis vaccine in pregnancy.
It will provide a comprehensive update on the management of infections during pregnancy, including screening, diagnosis, prevention, complications and treatment. All sessions will have dedicated time for audience interaction.
Conference Objectives are :
• Understand the level of knowledge of healthcare professionals involved in the care of these women.
• Update your knowledge on screening, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infections during pregnancy.
• Promote a multidisciplinary approach to the management of infections during pregnancy.
