American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) Introduction to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course: Diagnostics and Cadaver workshops is organized by American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) and will be held from Aug 03 - 04, 2018 at Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Objectives :
• Understand basic ultrasound physics and terminology
• Identify the indications for diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures
• Describe the normal musculoskeletal anatomy and basic pathologies
• Perform a sonographic evaluation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot
• Perform basic ultrasound-guided procedures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot on a cadaver

• Schedule Day 2 at ASMI Cadaver Skills Lab
