24th Annual Scientific Assembly - AAEM18 is organized by American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and will be held during at San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, San Diego, California, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 21.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description :
Pre-conference activities will take place on Saturday, April 7 and the morning of Sunday, April 8. The Scientific Assembly will begin with the Opening Remarks the afternoon of Sunday, April 8 and concludes on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Pre-Conference Course Highlight :
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) focuses on reduction of morbidity and mortality of trauma patients at the point of injury. TCCC has saved thousands of lives on the battlefield. Many of the practices and principles of TCCC can be applied to the civilian emergency care system.
This pre-conference will enable civilian physicians, residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, emergency medical technicians and other safety personnel to understand the principles and algorithms of TCCC as well as the science behind their derivation and adoption by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to practice the skills and techniques expected of military emergency physicians in a realistic, high-fidelity, combat simulation environment.
AAEM Scientific Assembly has always provided premier continuing medical education brought to you by world-renowned speakers, and AAEM18 will be no exception. We are excited to announce that for the first time, AAEM18 will have a theme: Breaking Down Barriers.
