Advanced Laparoscopic Renal Resection Course Using Thiel's Cadavers is organized by Dundee Institute for Healthcare Simulation University of Dundee and will be held from Oct 15 - 16, 2018 at University of Dundee School of Medicine, Dundee City, Scotland, United Kingdom.

The target audience for this medical event is Senior Trainees and Consultants who have already achieved some competency in urological laparoscopy. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12 CPD points.

Conference Description:
This conference will cover a wide range of techniques of Laparoscopic Nephrectomy and delegate will have the opportunity to have “hands on” experience on both calf models and human cadavers to practise a wide range of Advanced Laparoscopic Techniques. During the course each participant will practice Laparoscopic Suturing Skills, Laparoscopic Transperitoneal and Retroperitoneal Nephrectomy, Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy etc.

Conference Objectives:
• Patient and procedure selection, patient optimization
• Theatre Setup and pre flight checks
• Laparoscopic Suturing
• Laparoscopic Transperitoneal Nephrectomy (calf and cadaver)
• Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy
• Management of complications in Laparoscopic Nephrectomy
