Advanced Endodontics - Safe, Predictable and Efficient Endodontic Treatments for Your Patients is organized by UCLA School of Dentistry and will be held during Mar 23 - 25, 2018 at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Dentists, Endodontists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 24 CDE Credits.
Course Description :
This three-day lecture/workshop course will give you the fundamental knowledge and skills for excellence in endodontic treatment with an emphasis on advanced endodontic topics. This course is organized and taught by world-renowned faculty at UCLA with active endodontic practices to help ensure success in your endodontic therapies for your patients. This course is designed for clinicians with basic to intermediate endodontic experience. We dedicate more than 50% of course time to hands-on workshops and will maintain a very high faculty to student ratio to maximize your learning experience. In addition, we will provide one-on-one consultations and advice for your own patient cases with our faculty members at UCLA.
This is an intense course, with extensive time spent working on extracted teeth and/or 3D printed tooth replicas. Each participant will be required to proficiently complete at least 3 molars during the workshops. There will be an opportunity for you to present one of your best cases to the class and faculty.
Learning Objectives are :
• Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
• Safe, predictable, and efficient use of NiTi rotary file systems
• Warm vertical obturation techniques
• Perforation repair using calcium silicate cements
• Endodontic retreatments
• Ultrasonic instrumentation for endodontic access and negotiation through calcified canals
• Understanding the use of cone beam CT for endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
