Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider 2 Day Certification Course by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and will be held from Nov 01 - 02, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Personnel staffing emergency, intensive care, or critical care departments; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may have a need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
Course Description :
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest.
Upon taking this course, providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, 4 types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA, and asystole), 4 types of prearrest emergencies (bradychardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia, and acute coronary syndromes), and stroke.
