The 9th Annual Stroke and Neurological Disease Conference will address critical issues related to decision making for and treatment of stroke patients. The optimal care for stroke patients is ever changing as a result of advances in stroke prevention, therapy, and research. This conference will feature experts from emergency medicine, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, stroke neurology, and interventional neuroradiology. With the goal to update on the latest patient care recommendations, these specialists will convey the newest advances in the treatment of stroke in a format that allows for the timely application of proven protocol.
The discussion will include treatment of acute ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, neuroimaging, cutting-edge medical management and advanced endovascular treatments for stroke, neurorehabilitation, advanced stroke care delivery and the diagnosis and management of cerebral edema and disordered sleep in stroke patients.oke.
Each of these topics will be covered in the context of case presentations and panel discussions that will allow for audience interaction with faculty. The conference lectures are designed to enhance dialogue on the current controversies in the treatment of stroke.
