9th Annual Review of Advances in Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support & Transplantation is organized by Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) and will be held during Apr 27 - 28, 2018 at Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center, New York, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, internists, intensivists, cardiac nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists and other medical professionals involved in the evaluation, diagnosis and/or management of patients with heart failure. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This premier two-day course will further educate on the diagnosis and management of patients with advanced heart failure. Lectures will be given by internationally recognized experts who will address the newest clinical trials published in the field, and review standard and emerging treatments for advanced heart failure patients. Didactic sessions, case presentations and interactive discussions will engender learning and improvement in the management of patients with the full spectrum of heart failure.

Learning Objectives:
• Review the newest therapies in pulmonary hypertension and cardiac amyloid
• Discuss the new heart transplant allocation system
• Review the indications for ECMO placement and overview of cardiogenic shock team
• Discuss indication for referral to heart failure center
• Discuss management of complex coronary artery disease in heart failure patients
• Review newest advances in percutaneous valve therapy
