8th Northern Ireland Conference of the Primary Care Diabetes Society is organized by OmniaMed Ltd and will be held on Sep 20, 2018 at Hilton Belfast Templepatrick Golf & Country Club, Antrim, North Ireland, United Kingdom.
Given the increasing role that primary care plays in the management of diabetes, it is critical that HCPs possess the requisite level of skill to deliver care safely and effectively throughout the patient journey. Naturally, and despite the best efforts of primary care staff, delivering such a standard of care in a non-specialist setting can easily be compromised, often being undermined by a lack of specialist knowledge; in particular, when faced with complex diabetes issues, confidence can quickly be eroded and be replaced by safety fears. Thus, the focus of this year’s conference is dedicated to providing safe care in those with challenging complications. It has been designed, as always, with a strong clinical focus, and aims to impart confidence for delivering safe and effective diabetes care.
The conference will also offer all the supporting elements that have proved so successful in previous years, including tailored CPD materials, your pick of hands-on breakout sessions, and opportunities to network with colleagues throughout the day.
