This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description:
The MSK Ultrasound Course and Hands-On Workshop review the pertinent aspects of upper and lower extremity ultrasound critical for clinical application. This weekend course features, in addition to MSK ultrasound basics, up-to-date topics such as post-operative rotator cuff ultrasound, MSK ultrasound utility, MSK ultrasound procedures, and MSK ultrasound economics followed by panel discussions with audience participation.
The course also features live split-screen video demonstration of basic MSK sonographic technique essential for accurate clinical application. The interactive hands-on workshop provides ample opportunity for registrants to practice the techniques learned in lectures via small group training with subspecialists.
The additional option of specialty training in the Cadaver Lab is ideal for providing real-life, hands-on training of ultrasound-guided interventional technique that can expand the clinical scope of care for attendees. This hands-on practical day is taught by subspecialists who will demonstrate ultrasound-guided interventional techniques of the upper and lower extremity joints using cadavers.
