6th Annual University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Mellinkoff Gastroenterology and Hepatology Symposium is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held during Mar 09 - 10, 2018 at The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is Gastroenterologists, GI Endoscopists, Hepatologists, GI Physician Assistants, GI Nurse Practitioners, GI Nurses, GI Fellows and Other Allied Healthcare Professionals. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 14.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This Symposium has been designed as an interactive, case-based learning activity to educate healthcare professionals on the evaluation and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Audience participation is encouraged through panel discussions and audience response system. The hands-on session will provide a valuable learning opportunity, though no accredited hours will be issued for this portion.

Conference Objectives are :
• Apply the updated colon cancer guidelines to the screening surveillance of colon cancer
• Discuss controversies in disease diagnosis and/or management in patients with a broad range of liver disease
• Articulate diagnostic therapeutic approaches to management of patients with pancreatic disorders
• Develop a plan of care for the sufferer of IBS
• Analyze challenging patient cases to identify appropriate clinical approaches to improve patient outcomes for IBD
• Apply new guidelines and advancements for the diagnosis and therapy of esophageal disorders
• Review how to endoscopically manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders
