54th Annual Gastroenterology Update - Controversies, Innovations and Research is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education and will be held on Nov 10, 2018 at Corporate College East, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is designed for practicing physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in gastroenterology, internal medicine, family practice, gastrointestinal surgery as well as in the field. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Overview of Course :
Advances in diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders challenge GI practitioners to remain up-to-date on the most current data. This course addresses recent developments in the fields of inflammatory bowel disease and hepatology, and offers a comprehensive review of all areas of gastroenterology.
By attending this conference you will be able to:
• Discuss the steps needed to deliver comprehensive care to our IBD patients with the IBD Medical Home.
• Discuss endoscopic innovations such as POEMs, cholangioscopy, Barrett’s esophagus radiofrequency ablation, and pancreatic cyst drainage.
• Identify ways to increase your adenoma detection rate during screening colonoscopy.
• Review the use of the newest drugs in the IBD pipeline.
• Review the latest treatments for functional bowel diseases and eosinophilic esophagitis.
• Present a critical review of ongoing research projects from the Department of Gastroenterology
and Hepatology.
