The 4th International Symposium on Otosclerosis and Stapes Surgery is organized by Institute of Sensory Organs / Instytut Narzadow Zmyslow and World Hearing Center (WHC) - Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and will be held during Apr 05 - 07, 2018 at Galaxy Hotel, Cracow, Malopolskie, Poland. The target audience for this medical event for the fields of Otosclerosis and related areas

The meeting is opportunity for presentation of new scientific ideas and recent technology developments for objective measurements in Otosclerosis.

Conference Description :
In the scientific program of the Symposium we will focus on problems of the middle ear, looking to exchange and propagate knowledge on the newest development in the topic of otosclerosis and stapes surgery. Otosclerosis is presently one of the most common causes of progressive deafness in young adults. Hearing loss generally begins between the ages of 10 and 30. Untreated otosclerosis may eventually result in total deafness. Surgical intervention is a common and highly effective treatment, and it’s success is strongly reliant of surgeon’s skill and experience.
