The 30th Annual Kessler Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Board Review Course is organized by Cvent, Inc and will be held during Mar 10 - 16, 2018 at Westminster Hotel, Livingston, New Jersey, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Senior PM&R residents and graduates preparing for Part I or II board certification examination, PM&R physicians preparing re-certification of the board, Physicians seeking to update and incorporate PM&R knowledge in their practice. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 48.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description:
This comprehensive seven-day review is designed to provide content and issues relevant to Parts I and II of the ABPM&R Board Certification or re-certification Examinations.
Highlights:
Each module is led by world-renowned faculty.
Course uses interactive format of learning including videos and practice questions.
One to one mock oral examination with faculty is available.
Hands-on workshops are offered in the following tracks:
• Electrodiagnosis (Hands-on Tech and Waveform Identification)
• Ultrasound for the shoulder and knee
• SCI Classification cases
• Stroke syndrome review
• Review of various scales in TBI (severity and prognostic scores)
• Strategies for Re-certification
• Treatment of back pain
Course Objectives:
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, neuroanatomy, kinesiology, pathophysiology relevant to conditions in PM&R practice.
• Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosis and management of conditions pertinent to the practice of PM&R.
• Acquire the updated knowledge of the best practice guidelines and new advances for diagnosis and treatment of important PM&R diagnoses.
• Delineate the test-taking skills and study methods for Parts I and II of the ABPMR Board Examination.
