PIPAC (Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy) is a novel treatment for both primary and secondary peritoneal carcinomatosis. It makes use of the unique physical properties of pressurized gas which enhance the efficacy and safety of chemotherapy. Early preclinical and clinical studies showed encouraging outcomes. This is the first workshop on PIPAC in Asia-Pacific and we have invited the pioneers and leading experts in PIPAC and its related field to be our teaching faculty. In addition, there will be hands-on session and live surgery so that all of you will have a thorough understanding of this technology and the disease.
