27th Annual Cleveland Review of Rheumatic Diseases is organized by University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and will be held during May 04 - 05, 2018 at Hilton Cleveland Downtown Hotel, Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America. Target Audience:
This symposium provides state-of-the-art updates on the management of rheumatic diseases and will be of interest not only to rheumatologists, but also to primary care physicians. Allied health professionals, residents/fellows and medical students will also benefit from this symposium.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
• Develop strategies for managing patients with rheumatoid arthritis and related arthritis at every stage of the disease.
• Identify selected treatment modalities for rheumatic diseases and enumerate how these new advances may impact the practice of rheumatology.
• Identify the effect of diet in the development of autoimmune diseases.
• Enhance decision-making skills for appropriate use of biologic therapies in clinical situations.
• Describe indications and the general procedure for ultrasonic imaging for aspiration and injection of joints.
• Treat vasculitis using the most recent information on management.
