OVERVIEW
2018 International Congress For Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) East ISK Hip & Knee Course is organized by International Congress For Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) and will be held from Oct 11 - 13, 2018 at New York Marriott Marquis, New York City, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is orthopaedic surgeons, allied healthcare professionals, fellows, residents, and mid-level providers whose scope of practice includes sports medicine and hip and knee arthroplasty. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Through didactic presentations, surgical vignettes, debates, and interactive case-based panel discussions, the meeting faculty - leaders and innovators in orthopaedic surgery - will share their insights on contemporary issues in joint replacement and practice management, including :

An invited faculty of leaders in orthopaedic surgery from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean will focus on concepts in hip and knee replacement and practice management, including :
• Enhanced recovery arthroplasty
• Surgical approaches, components, and bearing surface choices in THA.
• Complications of THA and indications for revision procedures.
• New techniques and technologies in TKA.
• Current controversies in TKA.
• Extensor mechanism management.
Conference Objectives are :
Review the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) Model and gain a better understanding of the bundle and its implications on the practice of orthopaedics.
• Explore the emerging trend of outpatient hip and knee replacement and strategies for enhanced recovery arthroplasty.
• Develop an approach to the diagnosis and management of the young adult with a painful hip.
• Evaluate the state of the art and future trends in primary total hip and total knee arthroplasty.
• Develop and hone an algorithmic approach to the management of total joint arthroplasty patients, including candidates for rapid rehabilitation and outpatient arthroplasty.
• Identify characteristics of the problematic total joint replacement and understand the treatment options for a failed hip or knee replacement.
