14th Annual Nursing Research Conference is organized by Cleveland Clinic and will be held during May 02 - 03, 2018 at Cleveland Marriott East, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is all nurses, no matter your work role or job title. Clinical Nurses- Advance Practice Nurses- Nurse Educators- Nurse Managers and Leaders- and Nurse Researchers.
Conference Description:
This conference is the critical requirement of evidence-based nursing practice. There is a special need to enhance the ability of bedside and clinical nurses to plan, conduct, and disseminate findings from important clinical studies. It is equally important to create a conference that also provides an opportunity for clinical nurses to network with and share their research with others (both academic and clinical researchers).
• Clinical nurses are in the best position to identify the clinical questions in need of answers, so this conference was created for them.
• Clinical nurses will need to take the lead investigating interventions that will positively impact patient outcomes and the patient experience.
• This conference provides poster and oral research presentations as well as 12 break-out sessions that provide both basic and advanced workshops that deal with factors that impact the quality and rigor of clinical research designs.
Conference Objectives are :
• Identify the role of the clinical nurse in advancing the science of nursing.
• Discuss strategies to enhance the quality and rigor of scientific inquiry.
• Explore research design options (basic and advanced levels).
• Explain strategies to strengthen study designs through fidelity of interventions and data collection.
• Discuss methods for disseminating findings, including tips for writing for publication.
• Share findings from recent studies that has the potential to guide nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
