10th International Team for Implantology (ITI) Education Week - Comprehensive Care with Dental Implants is organized by International Team for Implantology (ITI) and will be held from Aug 12 - 17, 2018 at Prince Philip Dental Hospital - The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 40 CE Credit Hours.
Course Description :
This six-day Education Week addresses the general dental practitioner as well as the specialist and postgraduate student in his/her last year of training with an interest in comprehensive dental care. Combining daily seminars with hands-on training, live surgeries and daily case presentations and discussions in working groups, the goal of this intensive program is to merge theory and practice and allow participants to master comprehensive treatment planning with dental implants.
Great emphasis is placed on the planning of surgical and restorative interventions, as well as patient maintenance and mastering biological and technical complications. Aspects of treatment planning, surgical and restorative procedures will be approached from a theoretical and practical perspective, while a day will be devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and management of complications as well as the identification of the interactions between technical and biological factors that lead to failures.

Course Objectives are :
• Be competent to perform patient assessment and design restorative-driven, evidence-based and comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases addressing biological, esthetic and functional patient needs.
• Have a profound understanding of the restorative treatment pathways using dental implants as well as of the available complex surgical interventions, such as guided bone regeneration and sinus floor elevation required for optimal implant placement in compromised cases.
• Have a profound understanding of the biological and technical aspects of complications of implant treatments, and be competent in the prevention and management of the most commonly encountered problems.
