Course Description:
This Course provides the optimal architecture for interactive medical education and communication. This four-day meeting focuses on both primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as the major healthcare issues related to orthopaedic surgery. Virtually every aspect of joint replacement will be examined through case-based panel discussions, video vignettes, and audience interaction focusing on the latest, cutting-edge procedures and technology for hip & knee arthroplasty.
This meeting will also examine issues related to the peri-operative environment, including thrombosis, wound and pain management, blood conservation, quality mandates, practice management and economics. Each of these educational areas is timely and central to the orthopaedic surgeon’s effort to maintain surgical excellence while navigating the evolutionary changes taking place throughout the healthcare system.
