At the conclusion of this program it is expected that the participants will be able to:
• Correlate knowledge of the aetiology of wounds and related pathophysiology with factors that impact on healing to improve patient outcomes
• Use a systematic approach for assessing a patient and their wound to guide appropriate care
• Select an appropriate management plan, including dressings, taking into account patient considerations and the pathophysiology of the wound
• Gain confidence in the management of a person with a wound and advocate for best practice care
