Update in Advanced Imaging is organized by UC Davis Health System - Continuing Medical Education and would be held during Oct 9 - 13, 2017 Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa, Napa, California, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 26.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
• Discuss imaging of intracranial tumors.
• Describe an approach to imaging of patients with epilepsy.
• Review an update of acute stroke imaging including vessel wall imaging.
• Describe the principles of parathyroid 4D CT and imaging findings of parathyroid adenoma at 4D CT.
• Develop a simple approach to manage mediastinal masses.
• Identify the various appearances and ancillary findings encountered in community acquired pneumonias and use this information to predict likely organisms.
• Review the basics of pulmonary embolism imaging and other pulmonary vascular diseases.
• Recognize fungal diseases that are detected on imaging studies of the chest.
• Review the imaging features of internal abdominal hernias.
• Present difficult or unusual imaging cases likely to be found in clinical practice. Inter-modality/clinical comparison and pathology results.
• Improving our differential in imaging of adrenal masses.
• Identify pitfalls in imaging of renal masses with ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Identify and localize cancer and decrease false positives with tomosynthesis in diagnostic settings.
