Thoracic and Abdominal Imaging 2017

Thoracic and Abdominal Imaging is organized by European School of Radiology (ESOR) and would be held on Jun 8, 2017 at Tashkent, Tashkent City, Uzbekistan. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 6 European external CME credits.

The aim of this one-day intense multi thematic course is to enhance and consolidate the tutorials in Central Asia and further the educational opportunities for senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows from Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries. It is designed to update professional knowledge of current imaging options and strategies in a number of selected clinical conditions. Renowned European experts will ensure a high quality teaching programme.

• To review and elaborate on imaging features of community acquired pneumonia
• To discuss the current status in imaging and management of pulmonary nodule
• To present an update on multimodaity imaging of lung cancer
• To discuss challenges in imaging liver infections and inflammations
• To review imaging strategies in the depiction and characterisation of neuroendocrine tumours of the abdomen
• To refresh knowledge on imaging primary malignancies of the small bowel and discuss the potential of MRI in the management of patients with inflammatory small bowel disease
• To become familiar with the clinical role of imaging in peritoneal carcinomatosis
