The California Heart Rhythm Symposium is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and would be held during Nov 17 - 18, 2017 at UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center, Los Angeles, California, United States Of America.

Overview And Target Audience:
The California Heart Rhythm Symposium aims to bring together leaders in the field of cardiac arrhythmias and provides a forum for presentation and discussion of the latest advances in the field. The target audiences include practicing cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiologists, internists and allied health professionals.

The meeting will highlight how the understanding of basic mechanisms and new advances is translated into clinical practice. Furthermore, the program will explore how clinical problems have created new avenues for research and therapeutics. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
The content of this educational activity was determined by rigorous assessment of program feedback from prior California Heart Rhythm symposia, expert faculty assessment and new medical knowledge in the field.

At the conclusion of this meeting, participants should be able to:
• Describe the latest advances in the understanding of cardiac arrhythmias.
• Recognize how these advances are translated into new medical and interventional treatments.
• Apply these treatment advances to their clinical practices.
